What's up FAM,

The day is approaching. One more month left until the MIXTAPE drops. I am really excited about doing this. This will be the first MIXTAPE and it won't be my last. The positive vibes that I have been getting from  everyone are amazing. I hope you will like it, better yet, I know you will.

As of right now, we are in the process of finishing up everything. It sounds great. The whole team is contributing and adding their little flair to it. This is just a warm up for the real album.

FAM I NEED YOUR HELP. As you know, word of mouth is the best way to get heard. So when you get the MIXTAPE and love it, let everyone know. The music business is like politics and I am campaigning right now. I won't be elected if you don't vote for me. No matter how good the MIXTAPE is, it won't reach its full potential without you...the listeners.

MY MIXTAPE: IS HE REALLY FROM SWEDEN IS ALMOST DONE

Ladies and Gents,

It is my great privilege to let you know that my FIRST MIXTAPE "Is He Really From Sweden?" is almost done. We only have two more tracks to go and that should be it. We are hoping to release it by November this year. Three of the songs can be heard on the myspace page http://www.myspace.com/khalm. If you haven't heard them yet or if you have heard them and cannot get enough please visit the page.



Let me tell you a little about the mixtape and how the actual project got started. The project began when I challenged my little brother to send me 17 good tracks. I told him that if he could get at least 17 tracks then I would make him an album. Amazingly, he sent me over 30 tracks the very next day. Hahaha, so all props to my little brother because he is the brain behind it all. HAhahah LOVE YOU TONY.

I know that nowadays mixtapes are made with original beats, however, we choose to use beats from other other well-known producers like Hi-Tek and No I.D just to name a few. I guess one can say that this is an I OWE IT TO HIP HOP MIXTAPE.

I am not going to start of the post with a bunch of excuses. I know I have been M.I.A but now I am back to conquer. The summer has been great; I have been performing at different venues. And the feedback has been great. The owner at the Complete Actors Place, LA, was so amazed with the crew performance that he has now arranged for us to play there twice a month. Now you know where I will be. If you’re in the neighborhood and have time swing by and enjoy some live music.

The Month of May

What's up Peeeps,

How is everything? Hope is all good with you fam. I have had a pretty cool month of May so far, made a cool track with an aritst called Skilo V and as you are reading I am working with an artist from Sweden by the name of ELE check her out on www.myspace.com/elesongs . Ele and I are working on four tracks right now. Madness. It is going to be niceeee. As soon as they are done I'll inform you guys.

The song with Skilo V was made at my school. I meet Vick two week prior to the end of the semester. So we did not have alot of time make it perfect. It sounds tight anyways. I really like the track since I never worked with a lyrist artist like Skilo V. I had Maaad fun and I hope to do some more stuff next semester. The song is called Just Do You. EY, Vick we can make a 30 min hit too hahahha. JUST DO YOU it was straight from the heart.

The other day I was talking to one of my childhood friends called Isaaaaaak. We were talking about good music and how music has change since back in the days. I wanted to know what kind of music that he liked. Mr. Hendrix came up and I was like, I dont really know alot about him I have to do some research about him.

Classical Music Is Very Nice

What's Up Peeps,

I love music that makes one feel or think. Classical music is the perfect example of that. Some times it is nice to listen to classical music instead of main stream radio music. I know some of you think that it is excuse my terminology “Retarded" however, I love it and I think that everyone should have an open attitude towards Classical Music. So just Enjoy it, have it a try.

I just to play the piaon and these where the pieces that I wanted to learn :). A Big thanks goes out to my Piano Teacher Maddelaine fro opening up my eyes to a whole new world of music, I'll never forget. Love you

Sorry for not writting in the blog Yall. I have been super busy but now things are starting to better. Damn my little brother Tony left to go back to Sweden. He was supposed to leave on the 28th of Feb but we rebooked his flight for the 1st of March since we had our first big show on the 28th. (I'll put up footage and pictures of that later). Anyways we where stressing like crazy on the day that he was supposed to leave, it ended up that he missed his flight by 2 min, 2 MIIIIIIINNNNNN, ARE YOU SERIOUS?. I was so mad, however still happy at the same time. ONE EXTRA DAY WITH TONY YESSS MY EVIL PLAN WORKED MUHHAHAHH. Just so you know Tony, I made you miss your flight on purpose MUHHAHAHAHAH.



Just "JOKING", Well I LOVE YOU my brother T-Touch Thanks for coming out and staying for 2 months. We had alot of fun, Making music, Performing together, Going to New York, almost getting shoot, sitting in First Class on the plane,playing basketball( your still not better than me), meeting my friends, eating good food etc (I'll put up more pictures and footage of that as well). Tony I had two great months with you and I hope that you'll come out again soon.

The Swedish Championship starts to day for him. So I'll say a prayer for you and the team, so that everyone is protected on and off the court. PLAY HARD MAN. HOPEFULLY you will implement a couple of things that I showed you under the two months of hard traning.

WELCOME

Welcome Peeps,

It's the beginning of a new week and I am feel GREEEAAATTT even though it's raining like crazy outside. (It seldom rains out here in LA). My little brother Tony is here visiting, he has been here for over a month now. A month? Wow time goes sooooo fast. He is leaving to go back to Sweden by the end of this month =0( . Imo miss him dearly. (He should not be surprise if his passport comes missing hahaha) I only see my family once a year since they are all back in Sweden so it's really nice to have FAMILY out here.

Since T. Touch (that's he nickname) came to Los Angeles we have been up and about.

...:This's how our days have been:...

1. Tony makes breakfast in the mornings btw Tee is a great chef he attended a good culinary school out in Europe, I’ve been grubbing like crazy now. I know that once he leaves it's back to Ramen noodles and simple stuff. Hahaha.

2. Listen to Old school music and groove to it for like an hour.
We have to bring it back. That's our motto.

3. Write music

4. Hang out, grab lunch and just chillax.

5. If Jarrett (He's a producer out here in LA) is home then we go to his studio to record either on his tracks or on Cee Dee Philips (He's a Producer from Sweden) tracks.

6. Tony makes some spectacular Dinner.

It's funny I have always been on the low low with my music; however I feel now is the time to take MUSIC more seriously. We just had out first performance a couple of days ago, that was so HYPE. My little brother as my hype man, it don't get no better than that. Anyways, we preformed three of our songs and the crowd LIKE it.
